Spring is approaching and what better time to host a tea party. Tea parties are a great way to connect with your girlfriends and indulge in petite bites all while enjoying the comfort of your home.

Tea parties are great both inside and out. They can take place in your dining room, backyard/deck, or both!
The spread:
The table is the focal point of the party. You can decide on one main dining table, or several. Dress your table tops with tea cups, kettles, decorative napkins and name place signs. If you do not have any tea décor, ram sack your grand-parents china cabinets, or shop your local thrift stores. You will be surprised with your findings. It is OK to mix and match dishes, so do not stress over matching pieces.

Center pieces can be created using your cake and cookie tiers, fresh flowers, or framed pictures.
For added fun, ask guest to come dressed in high noon tea attire. Hats, pearls, and pumps will surely set the tone.
