Who doesn’t love a good old-fashioned snowball fight? If you’re lacking in the snow department, we’ve got the solution. These super adorable yarn snowballs are perfect for an indoor snowball battle. All you need for this DIY project is white yarn, scissors, and a book. Start by placing the yarn’s end inside the book and closing the book to hold the yarn in place.

Next, begin to wrap the yarn around the width of the book. The more yarn you wrap, the fluffier your snowball will be. Be sure not to wrap your yarn to tight or you won’t be able to get it off of the book. Once you have your desired amount of fluff, cut the yarn. Next, without unwrapping your yarn, remove the yarn from the book. Wrap the end of the yarn around the center, creating a bow. Finally, cut the loops on both ends to complete your indoor snowball. Repeat the process until you have enough for battle!

Treat your windows to a winter makeover by using epsom salt and soda to create this frosty look.

Dissolve 4 tablespoons of epsom salt in one cup of club soda. Allow this bubbly solution to sit for about 30 minutes. Next, dip your paintbrush and paint the solution on your windows in a circular motion. Allow the frost to dry, then apply a second coat.

First, fold your coffee filter four times, then clip it closed with the clothes pin. Now, use your scissors to cut out a unique pattern around the edges of the coffee filter. Once complete, unfold your masterpiece to reveal your one-of-a-kind snowflake design. Tape the string to the top of the snowflake and hang your design from the ceiling. Repeat these steps to create additional snowflakes. Here’s a pro tip, hang your snowflakes at different lengths to create wintery paradise right in your home.
