Credenzas have traveled a long way. They are also referred to as, sidebars, consoles, cabinets and buffets. There are a variety of materials and styles that will compliment any themed room. Credenzas are used in residences, commercial offices and hospitality spaces. This statement piece can transform your space from a boring hallway to an elegant place to showcase your beautiful flowers.
Let us first begin with the use of credenzas in our homes. Typically they are located in foyers (hallways), living & dining rooms, or offices. In foyers, credenzas are a great welcoming piece. Place a nice plant and/or flowers with candles, accompanied by a statement mirror and wa-la.
Hallways are quite similar to foyers. If space allows, you can display photos or awards on your hallway credenza. Living rooms offer a wide range of flexibility. They can be placed in front of a bare wall, behind a sofa and also serve as a room divider. In dining rooms, credenzas serve as a great storage component. On top, display china, or any core decorative items, and use the cabinets below for seasonal decor.
For entertaining purposes, blow your guest away by displaying food buffet style on your credenza. You are sure to be crowned with the best host award. In an office environment, credenzas are used primarily as a secondary workspace, or for displaying books/magazines and a lamp. Nevertheless, it can also be used as a primary desk.
Credenzas can be used in any form or fashion. Whether traditional or modern, metal or lacquered wood, credenzas have the capability to fit in, or stand out. That is what makes them incredible!
