5. Pillows and Cushions

We love scatter cushions and pillows! These are the most affordable and simplest way to add pops of color to an old couch or sofa. They also add details to dreary or bland décor. Don’t be afraid to mix primary colors together or mix and match embellished scatter pillows with embroidered cushions. Having an eclectic collage of pillows adds comfort and vivid colors to any interior.

This is one of the neglected forms of design in the summer. We tend to focus a lot on bright and bold colors, yet texture can make its own statement similar to color. Mosaics are a beautiful and elaborate design schemes. You can add mosaics to any decor as a focal point. Surround the mosaic with your favorite pieces and let the textured focal point do the magic.
