Do you have that one piece of furniture that looks shabby but you don’t want to part ways with it? Or are you a thrifter that finds fixer-uppers?
If any of these apply to you, we have the perfect idea to try. Refurbishing can be exhausting, but the end product is amazing. What if we told you that you can axe out the exhaustion and still finish with amazing furniture? Refurbishing a piece with mirrors is a new trend that’s gracing many of our homes. Yes, mirrors! And not in a traditional way but in a really funky chic way. Modern Domestic turns this trendy home décor idea into a easy DIY.
THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
Krylon chrome spray paint, Gorilla glue, mirrors (cut at your local glass store)
Glass knobs for your draw (Target) and painting tape
First, you will need to measure the areas that you will be applying the mirrors and get them cut at your local glass store. Don’t forget to let them drill holes in the glass, allowing you to screw you draw knobs back on. Use the the krylon chrome spray and begin to paint the furniture all over. After the paint dries, apply gorilla glue generously amongst the back of the mirror and stick it on the areas desired. Or you can simply spray paint furniture and apply the mirror to the top.
Let us know how yours turns out!
