As I start to pack up all of my sun dresses and high waist swim-wear, I can’t help but to realize that fall is slowly but surely kicking in. Clothes aren’t the only thing that you can rotate throughout the seasons, it’s great to have your home reflect the change as well. Here are the main décor pieces that you need to shift into fall can change the whole look of your home.
1. THROW PILLOWS
Throw pillows can be used to add splashes of bold colors to a room to alter it. They come in different shapes and sizes and no two pillows have to be the same. My personal favorite are the ones that have words and quotes on them. Play around with them to conquer diverse expressions of fall.
2. GLASS OR WICKER VASE
The great thing about your vase is that you can keep it and interchange what goes inside. Crafting stores have many flower and leave arrangements that you can add to your autumn scheme. You can also cover the vase or use ribbon around it to offset it.
3. PICTURE FRAMES
Changing out the pictures in your frame will definitely give your room a diverse look. Pictures with a frame can be rather expensive so you can choose between printing your own, using printed fabric or use nature inside of a shadow box.
4. THROW BLANKET
This is a light weight accessory that you can drape over you couch, love seat or accent chair. This is also used to add accent colors your rooms. You can even use your throw blanket as an art piece on the wall or an area rug, depending on the material.
5. PUMPKINS
How can you enter into the fall season without pumpkins? They don’t always have to be your classic gigantic orange object, but instead they can be more chic and fit into the more modern look.
