Winter season is in full affect! In some areas of the world, it is snowing, storming and most of all freezing! It is critical that we dress warm and also prepare our homes for this chilly season. So instead of shivering all night in your cold, winter-blues filled home, here is a list of items that will help you stay warm and will also bring some fuzziness to your life.
- Throw Blankets- Snuggle up in your throw blankets for movie night in the living room, or when you are too lazy from the cold winter’s night to unmake your bed. Throw blankets are also an easy way to add accents to your living space by simply using patterned and textured throws!
- Bedding- It is time to purchase a new bed in the bag, or build your own. Replace those thin summer sheets for flannel or double up. Sometimes one blanket and one set of sheets is not enough, so be sure to add a thick quilt-like blanket beneath the top of your decorative duvet. Gain additional warmth by adding more pillows that have texture like fur or flannel.

- Robes – Robes aren’t just for five star hotels, they could and should be used in your own home. If you’re a robe wearer, now’s the time to get rid of your thin or silk robes and pull out the plush! Be sure you have a thick, warm robe for those cold mornings after showering. Or if you’re like me, you enjoy a good and snuggly robe anytime you’re lounging around the house. It’s truly like a coat for the indoors!
- Warmers - Warmers are life savers. If you’ve never experienced an electric warmer on a cold wintery night, you should think again! Simply plug it in and place beneath your comforters to enjoy being warm and cozy in bed. This is better than heated leather seats in a luxury vehicle!
