Our furry friends are part of the family, and just like everyone else they need some space to make them feel at home. Here’s some creative nook inspiration to help you create a haven for your pet.
Abandoned/Unused Fire place
If you’re lucky enough to have a fireplace that you don’t use, convert it into a little hangout spot for your dog or cat. Place some comfy blankets and their bowls to welcome them to them. They don’t have to be secluded and can hang with everyone during family time.
Unused bedside table
Bedtime can be a struggle when your furry friend wants to snuggle or lay with you. If your pet loves to sleep in the same space as you – designate an area close to your bed like the bedside table. Create a cute spot for them to snuggle up and fall asleep with the comfort of knowing you’re right “next” to them.
Kitty Korner
The litter box is an eyesore and sometimes hard to mask. Place your litter box in the bathroom and contain everything in one go. Buy an inexpensive mobile shelf and position the litter box in the shelf. your cat will be able to “use” the bathroom just like everyone else in the house.
Multiples
Dealing with more than one pet can become overwhelming when organizing their spaces. Subdivide their spaces and keep things organized like this image above showing three allocated spots for their dogs. Simple, neat and easy.
